Mr. Edward Forker was one of Bill Halstead's customers. Bill delivered bottled water to Edward Forker's home on a regular basis. Bill liked Forker's work and managed to acquire several of his paintings.
Some of Edward's earlier paintings were offered to Bill in exchange for bottled water that had been obtained over a period of several weeks. One of the paintings was purchased simply because Bill liked it, and one was an anniversary gift to the Halsteads.

Photos of these Edward Forker oil paintings were shot at an angle to eliminate Glare. Each painting is photographed in its original frame. The frames are in surprisingly good condition. Although the paintings are in need of cleaning and some minor repairs.
Two of the paintings are on canvas and one is painted on thin masonite board. These paintings are still beautiful, but due to age and being stored in less than ideal environment, they are in need of some touch-up and TLC. The dates range from the late nineteen-thirties to the mid forties. Each painting is signed and dated. |
