From the Ashes
$16.00
From The Ashes is Ethel's latest published novel. The book was written with the young adult in mind, although it has been parised by older adults because it hits close to the heart of those who have adopted children or know of those who have.
Rebecca gazed somberly toward the spot where her house had once stood. And again she could hear the terrible chanting and smell the rancid odor of burning, oil-soaked torches. Suddenly, her senses began to reel as memory brought back all the old terror of that long ago night. Again she could hear the screams coming from inside the house, and the outraged shouts that came from the outside. The same intense panic that had seized her that dreadful night was holing now in its unyielding grip.
Today, just as she had all those years ago when something was bothering her, Rebecca looked up at the second-story window of the old house next door. In the past, she would have seen Macky leaning our, head and shoulders, waving to her, letting her know that he was there, ready and willing to slay dragons for her. And with that mental image in mind, Rebecca walked away from the ashes of her past with a new determination to find all the pieces, put them back together, and get on with her future.

Voice From An Unmarked Grave
$16.00
A thriller from the Land of Enchantment.
Voice From an Unmarked Grave is excitement from the word go, so treat yourself to an unforgettable adventure. From the first page, you will find your heart opening up to handsome Mick Grady, a half-breed Native American who was virtually roped into serving as sheriff of Lariat, a small town in New Mexico where Mick was born and grew up on his grandfather's ranch.
Mick had always been of the mind that there were two right ways to do things, and one of them was his way. That worked for him right up to the day he met beautiful Rebecca Siene who tearfully insisted that Mick resolve a long forgotten mystery that took place in another century...almost six decades earlier.
When Mick agreed to look into the forgotten cold-case, he thinks he is just doing a favor for a very pretty lady. Instead, he finds himself embroiled in a wave of crime that ripples through two counties and two of the largest cities in New Mexico...
Randi Taylor. Student of western lore and Native American literature.

Waco: Beyond the Mena Connection
$12.00
The search for a missing FBI agent and the mysterious disappearance of two young boys bring together two strangers in this electrifying thriller set in a rural western community. Benjy Poppatelle has run the Bureau of Indian Affairs in the sleepy town of Oogalah for years. When he takes time off for a vacation in Europe, he asks his long-time friend, Waco McClendon, to fill in for him.
Auburn haired, green-eyed, Kayeela Winarrow, a beautiful mix-breed American Indian, was determined that nothing would deter her from her search for the two young boys that had disappeared from her office in Greenfield. She would do whatever was necessary to find them, even swallow her pride, drive to Oolagah, and ask her Godfather, Benjy Poppatelle, for help. But when Kayeela found handsome Waco McClendon running Benjy's office at the Bureau of Indian Affairs, and Benjy was nowhere to be found, she almost lost her resolve to continue her search in that direction. That is, until she learned that Waco had an agenda of his own that could well tie in with her two lost boys...
