The Memories collection is from the Wilfred and Beatrice Halstead Estate, and most items listed in this section have a known history.

The six prints shown below, titled "Fores's Hunting Accomplishments" Hung on the wall of actor Robert Montgomery's office at the once fabulous MGM studio in Hollywood. Mr. Montgomery purchased the prints while visiting in London during the nineteen-thirties. Sadly, no record of a purchase date has been found.
Years later, when Mr. Montgomery remodeled his office in the forties, he presented the six prints to Beatrice Halstead as a gift for her years of devoted service.
The prints then graced a wall in the Halstead's Southern California home until their move to Alamogordo, New Mexico in 1977 where the prints remained in storage until the Halstead's passing, more than two decades later; Bill nearing ninety, Beatrice at ninety-five.

The prints are in their original frames, which have begun to show the effects of many seasons of changing temperatures, dry heat, humidity and frigid desert nights. However, a clear glass shield has protected the original beauty of each print; and even the frames are still sturdy and solid, except for the tiny, delicate, black and gold trim, which can be viewed by enlarging the photo on the easel.

Each of the six hunting scenes below are made from original copper plates that were created in seventeen eighty-three.
After the prints were created from the plates, each was colored by hand with watercolors.
Each print bears the crest/logo (shown below) on the back of the securely sealed frames.

The six prints ( below) of Fores's hunting Accomplishments are shown without glass or  frames to better Illustrate their colors.

Prints do not photograph well through their protective glass covers.

The framed print, shown resting on easel, is an example of the set. All six of the prints are framed with the same type frames.
